Faith&Mental Health:Support for hopeless students college
Do you recall the time Peter walked on water? He was doing okay until the fear set in and he started sinking. That’s college sometimes — you feel like you’re doing fine, then fear sets in and you’re unexpected decrease. But Jesus was right there for Peter. He'll be there for you too.
He’s there, even if you don’t see it. You know, when you’re looking at textbooks and feel completely out of the way? He's still there. And if your inner 'losing it' The meter is about to break.Psalm 34:17-18 tells us, He hears us when we cry out, and He saves us from trouble. He knows you're stressed. You're not.
College is, ‘Figure out your whole life … and also pass this class.’ It's confusing. You feel confuse, as if you are wandering about randomly and not knowing where you are headed.
Remember Moses? He guided people through the desert for decades. Neither did he know where he was going! But God took care of them. He'll take care of you too.
You may be feeling lost at this point. Like, what's my major? What am I doing? But you're not alone. God sees you. He has a way, even if you don’t see it yet. He has plans for you that are for a good purpose (Jeremiah 29:11)For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
3 tips To grow spiritually:
1.Speak to God and Listen to Him: “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Pray daily, thanking God and being honest with Him.
2.Dig into the Bible: “Your word is a lamp to my feet” (Psalm 119:105). Take your time reading it and considering how it relate to your own life.
3.Connect with Others:
Hebrews 10:24 says, “And let us consider one another in order to mix up love and good works,” Making it so important for each of us to have a community we can gather with to provoke each other to good deeds.like the Bible says in Hebrews 10:24-25. Being part of a church or small group gives you that support and shared faith, which really makes a difference.
